Mathews, John J., 91, of Levittown, on April 10, 2013. Graduate of U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis. Beloved husband of the late Mary Rose. Dear companion of Mary Lindsay. Loving father of Bruce (Maureen), Joyce, Marilyn Billone (Tom), Jane and Mary. Adoring grandfather of Danielle Berven, Kristen Versaci (Tony), Matthew and Mary Billone, great grandfather of Vincent and Siena. Visitation at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass will be at St. Elizabeth's Church on Saturday at 10:30AM. In lieu of flowers,, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association or the Wounded Warriors Project, in his memory.
