Obituary of Charles A. Beach

Charles A. (CA) Beach, 59, died suddenly at home on December 5th in Cold Spring Harbor, New York. CA was born on April 30th, 1953 in Huntington, NY and graduated from Huntington High school in 1971. He also graduated as an engineering major from the University of Maryland in 1975. CA was an excellent midfielder in lacrosse at Huntington High School and University of Maryland. He was an avid sportsman whose passions included hunting, fishing, boating and skiing. CA also excelled in paddle tennis and golf at Huntington Country Club and the Lloyd Neck Bath Club where he was a popular and long-time member. He spent his career at Beach-Russ Company, a manufacturer of vacuum pumps started by his great grandfather in 1899. CA rose to President and CEO and retired in 2007. CA leaves his loving wife of 30 years, Liz and two wonderful sons, Travis and Connor. He also is survived by his father Arthur Thomas Beach; three brothers, Rick, Todd and Peter and two sisters, Betsy and Cyndy and their families. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, December 14th at 1 PM, St. Patrick's RC Church, Huntington.
