I remember Phil's gruff, booming, but welcoming voice from the wedding showcases at the Watermill back in the '80s. His sense of humor and his friendliness put me at ease during those nerve wracking nights. My deepest, heartfelt condolences to his wonderful family. He will be greatly missed.

I didn't know Phil as well as most of you but being a colleague from SportsChannel & MSG, I'll always remember him as a warm, friendly face on our telecasts. He inspired a sense of confidence with his diligence and skill behind the audio board, peppered with great sense of humor. My sympathies to his family & I'll remember you & Phil in my prayers. Rest in peace Antonooch & I'll see you down the road a bit.

Dee and Phil - wonderful couple - wonderful people - had the distinct pleasure of singing with Phil once...nothing you can say really says what you need or want to convey - just love and sorrow...

When I heard about Phil's passing the first thought that went through my mind was a song - Eric Clapton's "Change The World". Many people talk about it. Phil actually did it in a million little and not-so-little ways. Those of us who remember him from the Holy Trinity days will never forget his intensity and perfection, his warmth and humor. God bless you, Dee, girls and family and friends, especially you, Kevin. Our deepest sympathy at this sad time, but also the joy and gratitude of being able to know even a little part of Phil. Tom and I saw him lsat year at Jones Beach and his smile of recognition when he saw me lit up the whole arena. Bless you all.

Phillip was my "musical soul mate" and my spiritually connected brother. We wrote and recorded allmost 60-songs together during a brief several-year period. When it came to music, we had the same creative purpose, focus, hunger for perfection and the semity of our musical creative thinking was as one, clearly showing through in the songs we created. Before his illness resurfaced, we had put into motion the next steps in our musical creative journey, again as the team of Phil and Mike, a few years older, but certainly wiser. Unfortunately these plans were cut short by his untimely passing. Not only will I not let his great talent that was the unique and wonderful Phil Antonucci become just a memory, as I plan on making every effort to ensure that his talent and gift for creating beauty is never forgotten. In fact, my new studio is the result of his guidance and direction, from start to finish as we were getting ready to co-write again, now with the ability to overcome any logistical issues as a result of new technology. We were both excited and couldn't wait to get started. Unfortunately, this was not to be. Although not physically there with me, he will forever be with me in spirit, right by my side, showing me the way! We will continue the long journey together as I know he is always going to be my musical soul mate until the end. As musical "Brothers in Arms", we fought the good fight and it is not over yet. The music creation I am going to undertake in the future, will always be Phil and Mike, creating from the heart, letting our love of life and more importantly our deep love of music and the creative process, live on through our songs. I will miss you my brother but now am comforted in knowing you will always be with me in spirit. I will love you forever my brother. Mike Knox

Go in peace, Phid. I had just ordered sushi for you and was about to leave to see you again in the East Northport hospice, when Christine called to say you had passed to a better place in eternity. I never remember a time when you were not a part of my life, with scant 6 months between us in birth and the many milestone celebrations families like ours shared mutually in those days, several times each year: holidays, birthdays, communions, graduations, etc. I wish I had known when I visited you and anointed you with the Sacraments in Cold Spring that it would be the last time I would see you this side of the grave, but, it didn't occur to me that you might leave us so quickly. That last encounter was, and is especially now, a blessed and special moment for me. Then, as now, I commend you to the merciful embrace of Christ and to the prayers of His holy Mother. You leave me the last surviving Antonucci male, and so the end of our grandfather's name and line on earth. But you will soon meet the whole Antonucci, quasi Antonucci and Cuccaro gang there in that far better place who loved you here. I hope yook forward to your eventual entry to God's dwelling in heaven, dear Cuz... I hear the music is great!
love
Frankie
