It gets more and more difficult to say goodbye to the people in your life who have been there from the beginning and who have shaped who you are. Today we say goodbye to My Nana’s sister, the sweetest, more gentle person I’ve known in my life, our beautiful Aunt Pat. Her kindness had no limit, and I have the fondest memories of spending time with my family because of the joy and warmth she created. Spending Christmas Eve at her house until 4 AM, her brownies, playing show tunes on her piano, there was always a fresh pot of coffee and she would always somehow just magically produce a freshly baked crumb cake when anyone would show up at her house. Which was often. She was an incredible listener and showed grace and compassion to everyone, all of the time. I remember picking out my dishes on our wedding registry because they looked just like hers and I hoped to one day create a beautiful home like the one she kept open to everyone for all
of those years. Some people just have a lasting impression on who you become in your life, and she was certainly one of those people who would do anything for anyone. After we lost Nana, she became the closest thing to holding on to that piece of our family, that old school comfort and familiarity that I remember my mom and aunts speaking of growing up. I am so happy you got to meet and know my boys so you can go and tell Nana how wonderful they are. I hope you are resting peacefully on the other side with those who have been waiting for you with lots of coffee and conversation. I think of you every time I put up my faberware coffee pot and smile. We love you so. Xoxo. Lisa Anne

There are no words to describe how much LOVE Aunt Pat had in her pure heart & soul for her family & friends, her kindness, generosity & thoughtfulness on this Earth was immeasurable! Everyone loved & adored her & wanted to be around her, I have many fond memories of all the wonderful fun times we shared, all the gatherings, whether it was just for coffee, dinners, cooking (not to mention her incredible cheesecakes,& rice pudding ) holidays, birthdays, sleepovers, block parties, traveling shopping , she made it worthwhile! She put unconditional love into everything for everybody with welcomed open arms,
one fond memory I have of her, she was my hair model when I took my cosmetology state board exam. She sat in the barber chair while I did all my required procedures on her head without complaint , we laughed all day. We had a special bond & I’m so blessed to have her as my Godmother . She will be forever in my heart, rest in peace my beautiful Angel
