My fondest memories are growing up with you at 204 Wall Street. Watching TV while Mom made Sunday Eggplant. Special occasion Carvels. Playing ball in the lot across the street before the new shopping center took our field away. But we always made sure we were on the same team.
How could we forget sharing one of the best days of your life at your wedding to your best half, Maureen. That led to holidays at Wall Street with all 5 families packed in around the dining room table sharing Mom's 5 course gourmet Italian meals. Rounded out the evening playing "OH Hell".
You were a man of many talents- playing with the kids, mounting young Joe's photo on acrylic to make a stand up ball player. We still have it on display. Of course you could grow a tasty tomato ! You took pride in knowing my tomatoes would never match yours, and you made sure I knew it! Your typical dry humor.
You will always be in our hearts.

I met Fred through my cherished friendship with Maureen. Fred was a man of few words but could say a lot with just a look. He was funny and had quite a competitive side when the horse race game he created came out on Pilgrims game nights at the Bifulco home. Fred you will be missed.❤️

Let’s talk about Fred!! I really didn't know Fred as long as other people did. But what I do know is that he was a great husband, father and grandfather! He loved being with his grandchildren and playing with them and taking good care of them!! He made things I never saw before and fixed things. He liked his friends and going out but, I think he preferred to stay home! He was funny with his dry humor! Most of all he loved his Red Lobster!! You will be greatly missed by all of us!! I hope there is a Red Lobster wherever you are!! Love you Fred and will definitely miss you!! ❤️

I will always remember Fred sitting in his recliner in the dark watching TV or on his laptop and I would walk in telling him to open the curtains and smile. He would just give me his look and continue doing whatever. We always had the best time playing his horse race game around the kitchen table and boy were we loud.
To celebrate Fred, we must go to Red Lobster for the stuffed mushrooms, biscuits and lobster soup. The last time we went in the spring he was so happy and he looked great. I will miss not flashing my headlights when I drop Maureen off but I will probably do it anyway. Fred I will miss our banter for sure. You and Maureen have a wonderful and beautiful family
Love you

I don't think anyone knows how to start a speech of this magnitude, but I will give it my best.
When I first met Fred, I didn't really know what to think. Quiet, observational, but overall accepting of everyone. He commanded respect without saying a word.
I asked him and Maureen for their daughter's hand in marriage with a classic misdirection. I sent Kristin to my parent's house, all the while I was driving over to Ecker Ave to gain the ultimate respect, and a place in their family. A family that Fred and Maureen constructed over 30 years, at the time of my ask. All Fred had to do was shake my hand, and he said yes.
Through the years, he taught me so much without saying anything. Patience. Picking your battles. Really dry humor. They say you marry someone like your dad, as a daughter, and it is beyond an honor to be compared to Fred, by Kristin regularly. I told Kristin, if I can be half the father Fred is, I would consider myself lucky. Along with my own father and mother, who shaped me for who I am today, Fred played a part in that next phase of life for me as well.
I will always remember one of our last days together, where I saw our dog, Oakley get into the neighbors yard. He sent Jake over to the house to ring the bell, get the dog out of his yard, and being him home. Only, Oakley ran a bit more, away from our house. The girls, a few houses down, neighbors across the street, and Jake helped get the dog into Freds car. I was watching this all unfold on our cameras. Pure chaos. Fred was able to get Oakley into his back seat, and sat with him in the driveway until I got home.
I watched Jake act like an adult at 5 years old and Fred taught him that. He was a little man on a mission to do a big persons job. In that moment he taught him independence and how to be self sufficient.
I came home and pointed at Oakley in the car and asked what happened. (Fred didn't know i watched everything unfold.) "Oakley got out", he said. All I could do was laugh. Both dog and man so happy sitting in the car.
Fred fought stoically at the end, with everything he had. His family rallied behind him, and showed what true love is.
I will never say what a great man Fred was, but what a great man he is, because we will always share a Fred memory. His impact will, and already has shaped everyone, just by interacting with him.
Fred is here and with us always. He lives on in each of us forever.
I am grateful for being in his presence for as long as I was.
I promise to my wide and kids, I will continue his legacy for as long as I am here.
Thank you.

To my brother Fred,
It has been only a short while since you passed and I miss you terribly!!
We always kept in touch even though we lived so many miles apart!!
You always managed to make me laugh with your dry wit and all the funny texts you sent even though the pictures you sent were suspiciously altered!
I’ll never forget all the birthdays we celebrated together as children since our birthdays were only two days apart!
People will always know what a great person you were by simply looking at your children. Kristen and Edward have made you and Maureen very proud. You raised them with love and understanding and I’m sure they will raise your grandchildren the way they were raised.
My brother- I love you and will never stop missing you until we are together again!!.

Daddy
My dad was a quiet man, but he spoke volumes. His gentle reassurance was always there. Dad was a steady force behind our family. Any time I would call, day or night, near or far, he always came. He once drove from West Babylon to Riverdale, Bronx to change my flat tire while I was away at college. No questions asked, just said, "ok, I'll be there in an hour or so." Now I know how to change my tire.
I found out that you are a great keeper of secrets. My freshman year of college, I bought a plane ticket on the credit card my dad gave me. I went down to Florida to visit my best friend, Jackie. He called me a day or 2 into my trip and asked "Kristin, where are you?" I tried to lie and play it off that I was still at school, but "a little birdie" told him that I was not at school, but in Tampa, FL. I got reemed out on how to be safe and responsible. Looking back I get it. but moral of this story was, Jackie brought it up in convo a week or so ago, with Mommy there, and Mom was like, "wait, what happened? When was this?!" She had no idea. So thanks, Dad, for keeping my secret and not getting me in more trouble than I needed.
These last few months have been pretty tough on Dad, he fought so hard to be here for us, but in the end, God had other plans. I know that he's up there watching over us. Hanging out with his parents, brother Charlie, and Phoenix.
Someone sent me wind chimes after your passing. I still don't know who it was, but what a blessing. I hung them in the front yard off the gutter, by the corner of our front porch. I told the boys that any time you hear that chime it's Papa saying hello. Every day we hear those chimes going, and every day the boys say 'Hi Papa' right back. I hope you hear them and know how much Jakob and Kaiden love and adore you, and miss you so much.
Dad I love how you taught me anything and everything. I was your sidekick, sous chef, partner in crime, and helper. Daddy's little girl forever and always. Rest easy knowing your memory will live on through your family and friends. <3

To my Father In Law….
You were an incredible man who meant so much to all of us. You weren’t just my father-in-law—you welcomed me into your family with kindness, warmth, and unconditional love. For that, I will always be grateful.
Your strength, wisdom, generosity, and sense of humor touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing you. You led by example, showing us the importance of family, hard work, and treating others with compassion. The love you gave will continue to live on in your children, your grandchildren, and in the countless memories we will cherish forever.
Your grandchildren absolutely adored you. To them, you weren’t just Grandpa—you were a source of love, laughter, comfort, and endless memories. Whether it was sharing stories, making them smile, or simply being there, you made each of them feel deeply loved. They will miss your hugs, your voice, your smile, and the special way you made every moment together unforgettable. The love you poured into their lives has shaped who they are, and they will carry your memory and the lessons you taught them in their hearts forever.
Thank you for every laugh, every conversation, every lesson, and every moment we shared. Your presence brought comfort, your guidance brought strength, and your love brought us together.
Though our hearts are broken, we find peace in knowing that your legacy will never fade. You will always be loved, deeply missed, and forever remembered. We will carry your memory with us every day, honoring you by living with the same kindness and love that you so effortlessly gave to everyone around you.
Rest peacefully. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

There are some people in your life that are just always there. When they are suddenly gone it can feel significant. Especially with someone as significant as Uncle Fred.
Uncle Fred was someone who was always there. I would go to some family event and there he was. For someone who was usually quiet his presence was always felt.
So many memories of the Christmas Eve dinners at his and Aunt Maureen's house. And later at Eddie's house with all the little grandchildren running around.
As others have already stated Uncle Fred was great at building things. Years ago I remember him putting in our front door. And also him and Uncle Frank installing our kitchen cabinets when my Dad was sick. Uncle Fred was someone with a big heart. I always had fun taking apart those puzzle boxes. He was also someone who loved to cook. (Always those Swedish Meatballs and rice pilaf)
Him and Aunt Maureen built such a great family raising my two wonderful cousins and of course those grandchildren.
Uncle Fred will be missed.

To Maureen and the Bifulco Family:
Freddy will be sorely missed. Some of you don’t know me.
The Bifulco’s lived next door to us. Freddy was a little older than me.
When I got my permit to drive Freddy took me driving in his New Triumph Spitfire a 4 speed. I learned to drive a stick while practicing driving in Lloyd Harbor.
Freddy I do remember your Blue Volkswagen Beetle also.
We played wiffle Ball all the time, (Don’t know how many times we broke the window) Basketball at our house, (broke a couple windows) touch football and hide go seek at night, hiding in the Christmas trees that were for Sale.
Our families spent many Holidays together. Summer barbecues playing Bocce’ ,lighting fireworks, your Dad making the best Lemon Ice for all of us (with his little machine) and best of all Christmas Eve parties at the Pagano’s (Next Door) I did see some pictures from those Christmas parties at the wake.
You also worked for a exterminator. You killed the carpenter bees in front of the garages.
When you were into photography you took tons of pictures. You took some awesome photos of my Dad working on the Garage roof. You developed them and blew them up and I still have one of them. It’s a photo of my Dad waving to you. I have another photo you took of me on the mounds of dirt behind NorthShore Pharmacy. You were looking to practice developing. I still have that picture.
These are some of the lifetime memories I will never forget!
My Daughter Brooke, our Moms & Dads, brothers Charlie & Louis Pagano , Charlie & Freddy Bifulco.
Rest In Peace!
Our lives are changed forever.

Pops!
As I think back I can only picture the hard working dedicated father you always were.
And If that meant Kristin and I had to be inside and in our rooms at 430 in the afternoon during our summer vacation because you needed to go to bed to wake up at 2 for work THATS what it meant.
If it was you building us makeshift go carts so the kids on Ecker Ave would have the time of our lives that’s what it was.
How about you putting up our pool BUTTT for 37 years of my life I never seen you in a pair of shorts - it was for us and always was.
The ecker ave family was one any kid could dream of living and growing up on -
between the neighbors with your version of the he mans women haters club - or the endless nights and parties out on aunt Lorie and uncle toms deck - let’s not forget about that mock trial of the rooster and pig swap.
You were always there for a good laugh Orr the Pillow for us young ones to fall asleep on .
DAD The block lost a great one
I couldn’t be more proud to grow and learn from such an amazing father . You may have been silent to so many but your actions and love raised 2 great kids .
I can’t say you were ever at many of our sporting events BUT you were always outside ready to throw the baseball or continuously beat me in basketball. ( sorry neighbors I know those late nights must have drove you crazy with that ball bouncing or the music blasting )
You may not have seen many of Kristins games or dance recitals but if she had dance PRACTICE you would take her on those Thursday nights even if it meant we were going in the Oceanside Tractor that you had to bring home.
Oh and btw we were DEFINITELY GETTING Chinese and the REAL dairy barn ice tea.
Your later years you were blessed with 4 amazing grandchildren all who absolutely adore you.
We will forever be grateful for the rejuvenated life you had when they were around.
I know Valentina thought you were more of a jungle gym than an actual person but boyyy did she love her poppa.
FOR Vincent you were his idol, the love you guys had for each other is something I will never forget!
& Jakob and Kaiden the boys who kept you on your toes. You always took the time to sit and do the arts and krafts or whatever toys they had to experiment with. Those are the days they will cherish and miss.
To Mom,
You had a great one. These stories and memories will be told over and over again.
The laughs, the good times, and the way we grew up together were all shaped by how you held this family together.
You were always the one at every game, every practice, every road trip. You showed up for all of it, and that never went unnoticed.
We love you so much. The circle of friends you’ve built around this family is something special, and the prayer army that stood beside Dad is what will help all of us keep moving forward.
We won’t forget him - we’ll continue to live for him.
Forever loved ,Forever Remembered
The Greatest Dad

Growing up, I always looked forward to seeing what Fred was building in the garage or working on around the yard. No matter what it was, he always took the time to let me help. He never got frustrated, never told me to leave or that I was in the way. Instead, he took the time to teach me - whether it was carpentry, fixing something mechanical, or just how to work with my hands. I’m sure I made his projects take way longer than they should have!
Looking back, I realize those weren’t just lessons about building things. They were lessons in patience and kindness. I’ll always be grateful for those moments and the influence he had on my life. I had a great group of mentors growing up. I will forever be grateful my Dad, Fred, and Freddy.
Rest easy, Fred.

Maureen, Kristin, Eddie, it’s hard to say anything at all. You have been in my thoughts and prayers for months and it feels wrong that I am so far away right now.
He was the one I had to ask over the phone “Can Kristin and Edward come out to play?”
He was the one who built go karts from scratch for the neighborhood kids to play with.
He was the quiet one in the corner who would come out with a one liner that would send the room into an uproar of laughter.
He stole a rooster weather vane and replaced with a pig that started a neighborhood wide manhunt that ended in a full mock trial.
He was a protector, a watchful eye.
He was the wisest, most insightful, and incredibly intelligent man.
Growing up he was in integral part of the community we built on that block. My childhood is something I look back at often. I am constantly reminded of just how lucky we all were to have experienced that. And Fred was a huge part of it.
The loss of him is great, but the memories and the lessons we take with us into our future are greater.
Here’s to a great man. ML

Life is strange, because when I say I need to go to a wake, how do I explain why?
He was a neighborhood dad. He was my friend's dad. But neither of those feels big enough.
I didn't really know him as I became an adult, yet he is woven through the childhood memories that shaped me.
I remember a quiet man whose presence never demanded attention. I remember admiring his discipline, always leaving parties early because he would be up before sunrise for work. I remember the husband with the tall wife he was always happy to let do most of the talking. Maureen Alles Bifulco. I remember the father of a wild blonde girl who simply refused to wear shoes. The proud dad of the first little boy I ever babysat. I remember a laugh that came slowly, but filled the room when it arrived.
To remember him is to remember his family, because they have always belonged together in my mind.
"I remember" is the closest thing I know to saying: you mattered, you are loved, and you will be missed.
