Vasta, Edward, 97, of Melville, passed away on June 14, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth. Loving father of Marybeth, Rosemarie Pray (Stuart), Edward, and John J. (Gail). Adoring grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 6. Visitation will be held Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Thursday 9:30 AM at St. Hugh of Lincoln RC Church, Huntington Station. Entombment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
